This luxurious wine has an intense ruby red color with a delicate hint of violet. It has a pleasant aroma with elements of fruits, berries and flowers. Its flavor is multilayered, with moderate astringency. The wine is produced by implementing traditional Armenian monastic winemaking technology from Areni, Haghtanak, Kakhet grape kinds. Following this technology, the wine is aged in clay amphorae, resulting in faster wine maturation and more intensive flavor and aroma typical to aforementioned grape kinds.
Grapes are handpicked, separate fermentation of each sort, then short aging in 225 liter Caucasian oak barrels.
The grapes are harvested from the Aragatsotn region.
